Before commencing massage or body therapy on any client, it is necessary to ascertain their state of health. The medical consultation allows us to obtain the most accurate information. Manual massage has few contra-indications, but may need to be adapted to suit the client’s physical condition. By undertaking the consultation, the client confirms the information provided is complete and accurate. The client also confirms undertaking the treatment on his/her own risk and accepts that the Bush-Spa team by  Personal Touch Ltd., its directors, or any persons working for this company cannot be held responsible for any, injury, death, loss, theft or damage to the client or their personal belongings. If the therapist has any apprehension over the client's health, a reference to either a local doctor or the client's own GP will be made.

Our Spa team has been the original and one and only true wellness service provider within the Luangwa valley since 2006! So we have plenty of experience in reaching the far corners of the park and the lodges situated in the stunning Game Management Area just outside of the park. With our selected menu, we bring the high quality treatments emphasizing your African experience to your doorstep!

Although our menu might differ slightly from location to location, we try to redefine the African Wellness experience with quality treatments based on the wonderful ingredients this magnificent continent and Mother Nature have to offer.
A blend between exotic, oriental and western techniques, all our treatments provide the ultimate feel-good therapy!

A selection of treatments can be found at your lodge reception or in your room, if you wish to pre-book and receive advance information on these “in-room” therapies, do send us an e-mail.

The far-away, deep in the bush session at selected bush camps for the entire group will have a more personalized menu or can be selected upon arrival. Contact us for details, appointments or speak to lodge management.

To complement your safari experience, we will come with our team of therapists to your lodge or bushcamp. Currently we offer our in-room services at Mushroom Lodge, Robin Pope Safaris, Nkwali Camp, Luangwa House, Norman Carr Safaris, Kapani Lodge, Chichele Lodge, Puku Ridge, Flatdogs Tree House and offer mini retreats with a minimum amount of bookings at Lion Camp.

At Kafunta River Lodge, we offer an our treatments in their Natural Touch Wellness Hideout, in a private quiet corner on the river bank you can enjoy a variety of treatments to pamper yourself and relax in this special surrounding.

Your reception or hosts can take bookings for any session with short notice, but try to give us a minimum of 6 hours.

Should you be residing at any of the other establishments in South Luangwa, please contact us, as we can always arrange complimentary transport to and from our Bush-Spa just inside the South Luangwa National Park.
