Our Spa menu changes constantly, as our focus us lies on the use of local ingredients which are seasonal. Our extensive range of spa treatments from African, Eastern, and Western traditions will ensure that every need is catered to. In the selection of our products we confirm our commitment to create a truly unique African experience for our guest with a discerning appetite for natural beauty and true natural experiences. Variety is the Spice of Spa

For many people, when they consider indulging in a spa treatment the first that comes to mind is a traditional massage. While massages are the No. 1 Spa treatment for a variety of reasons (they feel wonderful and impart some undeniable health benefits) there are also a number of therapies available on the Spa “menu” that you should definitely try in order to take full advantage of the whole experience. Game viewing can even continue whilst having a warm Hydrotherapy bath, a Zambian foot reflexology massage or one of our Bush-Pedicures!

Touching massages

A range of high quality massages are available to choose from. Some are traditional favorites, whilst others are original fusions of them. Even Signature therapies are available, designed and adapted for use in the bush area of South Luangwa. The Bush-Spa has many therapies to choose from; traditional Swedish therapy, Deep Tissue, Holistic variations, Herbal oils, to Hot Stone, Ultra Relaxing Body Butter, Detoxifying Balm and even Thai Yoga massages are on offer.
A more intimate selection is found  for our in-room treatments and at the Boma of Islands of Siankaba in Livingstone.

Foot work

All our therapies are complemented by our Herbal Flora Foot bath, however our therapist can focus a bit more on your feet and ease those air-plane ankles or tight muscles after your walking safaris, while you continue your game viewing. Have a relaxing seat and enjoy the view, while we take care of your feet. A range of Bush pedicures, from a 30 minutes Foot Touch up to an hour and half of Hot Stone pedicure. Our Zambian Foot Reflexology is a must try as well!

Touching face care treatments; inspired by Nature

Our facials focus on achieving optimum skin health by use of natural products. A thorough consultation to assess your individual concerns ensures the therapists give the most appropriate treatment and home care recommendations. Where possible we use only organic ingredients, thus free of toxic chemicals. We have used a small selection of nature’s gifts to create a beautiful range of products designed to revitalize and nourish. Infused with essential oils to calm the mind and natural products to pamper the skin, you will be left feeling tranquil and rejuvenated. A touching and relaxing experience, all what you expected it to be and more!

Bush style body rituals with a touch of Africa

Africa has an abundance of therapeutic plant life and at all our Spa's and Retreats, we are embracing this ancient, traditional therapeutic heritage. Products that contain blends of indigenous plants including: Wild Jasmine, Sausage Tree (Kigelia Africana) Marula Oil, Baobab Oil, Honey Bush Tea, Green Rooi Bush tea, and African Ginger are but a few of the wonderful therapeutic ingredients that the African continent has on offer.
In celebration of these Gift of Nature, the Bush-Spa and our other Retreats constantly create and up-date unique signature treatments. A range of various body wraps and glows are on offer; from Zambian Coffee & Brown Sugar body glows to Firming and Hydrating Kigelia African body wrap and anything in between. Ozonator Hydrotherapy

The health benefits of hydrotherapy (using the “ozonator” purification technique), as has been proven internationally over decades are unsurpassed. Hydrotherapy accelerates the healing of injured or hard exercised muscle tissue. Lymphatic fluid reaches the cells more quickly and the removal of waste products and toxins is accelerated.
There is another side to the Bush-Spa hydrotherapy which cannot be evaluated scientifically and that concerns the effect on the mind. The unique Bush-Spa bath overlooking the magnificent lagoon is offering you a truly wild experience. Fourteen micro-jets of Eastern Shiatsu massage your body, while you also obtain a continuous foot massage and volcano jet deep massages thighs and calves. With all these options in your own private hot tub (max 2 people) and the complementary stunning views just add to the amazingly relaxing experience, which is a “must do” whilst visiting the Bush-Spa!
