The Bush-Spa menu changes constantly, as the focus us lies on the use of local ingredients which are seasonal. The extensive range of spa treatments from African, Eastern, and Western traditions will ensure that every need is catered to. In the selection of their products, the Bush-Spa confirms their commitment to create a truly unique African experience for guests with a discerning appetite for natural beauty and true natural experiences.

Variety is the spice of Spa

The natural and local ingredients are already adapted to the land and its climate, and the Bush-Spa using these, make these products more environmentally friendly while also helping the local economy. Together with SKIN the aim is to create even more Zambian natural products using indigenous ingredients found in South Luangwa and other areas of Zambia. Truly giving the Spa guests a piece of Zambia whilst enjoying their treatments and a piece of this magnificant country to take home with them!

  • Touching Massages
A range of high quality massages are available to choose from. Some are traditional favourites, whilst others are original fusions of them. Even Signature therapies are available, designed and adapted for use in the bush area of South Luangwa.
A quick glance at the therapies; from traditional Swedish therapy, Deep Tissue, Dry Cupping, Holistic Herbal Oil variations, to Hot Stone, Ultra Relaxing, Detoxifying Balm and even Thai Yoga massages are on offer.

  • Face care treatments inspired by Nature
Bush-Spa signature facials focus on achieving optimum skin health by use of natural products. The team have used a small selection of nature’s gifts to create a beautiful range of products designed to revitalize and nourish. Infused with essential oils to calm the mind and natural products to pamper the skin, you will be left feeling tranquil and rejuvenated. A touching and relaxing experience, all what you expected it to be and more!

  • Pampering Footwork
All Bush-Spa therapies are complemented by an Herbal Flora Foot bath; however your therapist can focus a bit more on your feet and ease those air-plane ankles or tight muscles after your walking safaris! From a bush pedicure foot touch-up to a Zambian foot reflexology... Have a relaxing seat and enjoy the view, while we take care of your feet

  • African body rituals and wet sessions
Africa has abundance of plant life and at the Bush-Spa they embrace this ancient, traditional therapeutic heritage. Taking indigenous remedies to the extreme, the therapists follow African traditions by for instance using Luangwa Spring mud to exfoliate before a deep cleanse with Marula, Cocoa and Zambian Coffee and moisturizing with Aloe Vera infused Cucumber wraps. Anything from seasonal African Macadamia cream body glows to Firming and Hydrating Kigelia Africana body wrap and anything in between.

  • Aqua skin Therapy
The open air wet deck features a "lagoon tub" for heavenly aqua treatments and an "al fresco" shower, giving you full view of the resident hippo's just below the deck. Nothing is more relaxing than a warm bath..... except perhaps to soak just above eye level with these grey friends, hydrating, detoxing or just relaxing your skin and body. It is just an experience on it's own!

These treatments are just a taste of what the Bush-Spa can offer you – be sure to read the whole spa menu and ask the manager questions before you choose your treatments. Combinations as offered in the "Big Five Aqua Packages" are highly recommended and ensure to create a Spa experience that lasts much longer than the pleasure of a massage.
