Personal Touch in Africa....
Africa has a wealth of archaeological, geological, historical and traditional resources that have not yet been fully exploited and utilised. The Personal Touch was incorporated to make the most of this rich natural heritage and in particular develop products and packages that will satisfy the needs of current key players in the tourist industry, as well as the increasing “personal attention” expectations from visitors to Africa.
Our key focus is on Zambia and Malawi in the South-Eastern part of Africa, however with our Spa Consultancy work, we reach all corners of this magnificent continent.

The Bush-Spa in Zambia....
Winner of the 2009 Zambia Tourism Award for Best Entrepreneur, The Bush-Spa in South Luangwa National Park overlooks a lagoon that attracts abundant wildlife and the view is quite breathtaking! The Lake-Spa in Malawi....
The Lake-Spa on the shores of famous Lake Malawi, is our latest addition. Just North of Mangochi, on the palm fringed southern shore, part of an extraordinary lakeside resort, the Lake-Spa awaits you. Have you ever wondered what you would do if the day was yours to design? The possibilities are intoxicating and endless. At the Lake-Spa a range of treatments are on offer, to truly relax in style, while the exquisite sandy beach is just a few feet away. The lake itself is famous for its diverse cichlid species of fish and the crystal blue (fresh!) water invites you for a dip.
At the Spa, our tradition of high quality treatments, with a wide range of choice is being carried forward by our Malawian staff. Not only are they highly trained in all therapies on offer, but knowledgeable on most of the used ingredients, which are of indigenous produce (to think of Baobab, Tamarind and Sausage Tree). To follow the company policy of providing income and opportunity for the local community, The Personal Touch only works with Malawian therapists at the Lake-Spa.

Spa Consultancy throughout Africa....
With our experience in building, setting up and training for Spa facilities in remote areas of Africa, we are more then willing to share our knowledge and expertise. Be it training of local community members becoming active in the Wellness Industry, procurement of quality products not readily available in the more remote corners of the continent, to working together on realizing a complete (eco-friendly) Spa for your establishment, to even focussing on local and indigenous produce in a sustainable way, we have done it all.
For instance, our extensive training offered locally is being expanded throughout Africa already, offering more people the chance of becoming active within the industry. Currently not many countries offer any education for this line of profession and the Personal Touch, in cooperation with the various Ministries of Health and Education, wishes to set up guidelines for this part of the wellness industry. However we realise this does not happen overnight and this needs careful attention, based on guidelines for each and individual country.
